PHILOSOPHY AND QUALITY

01

THE IDEAL GROUND

A FINCA OF 136 HECTARES, LOCATED AT THE FOOT OF THE ANDES

The land of Mendoza has the particularity of generating fertile energy, fueled by the sun and pure water that is born in the Andes. The altitude, the thermal amplitude and the dry climate make the grapes ripen in a particular way that gives the wine a subtle and powerful flavor and aroma and allows to produce large crops. The choice of this property is the result of extensive research that has allowed to find the ideal terroir in the Alto Agrelo region, one of the best COCs in the country.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

SOIL & LOCATION

Vignes des Andes is a 136-hectare estate located at the foot of the Andes mountain range, in Alto Agrelo, in one of the best wine-growing regions of the province of Mendoza, with a temperate, dry and very sunny climate (more than 320 days a year).

The estate is located at an altitude of 1050 meters, in an excellent area for the development of high quality vineyards, olive trees and fruit trees. The soils of the field are of alluvial origin and deep with a sandy texture with some clay and silt.

The soil has sand and some gravel on the surface, the proportion of which increases with depth up to about 50cm, which provides excellent drainage. Then comes the clay.

The climate is temperate continental, with rainfall averaging around 200 mm per year, which practically allows organic viticulture.
